From ocean to river2024
Circumnavigation of Lake Constance
In 2024, I swam around Lake Constance – faster than anyone before me.
In just five days, I covered 167.64 km, setting a new record.
The swim was ratified by the Record Holder Republic.
2023
Fehmarnbelt
In 2023, I swam across the Fehmarn Belt from Germany to Denmark – a distance of 25 km.
After eight hours in the open Baltic Sea and crisp temperatures around 16°C, I reached the Danish coast, completing one of the most challenging swimming passages in Northern Europe.
2022
The Rhine
2018
Germany's largest lakes
In 2018, I swam across Germany's ten largest lakes – from Lake Müritz to Lake Constance.
Each stage presented new challenges in terms of weather, waves, and distances, but in the end, I connected the country's waters in a unique way.
2017
Elbe
In 2017, I swam 620 km down the Elbe River—from Bad Schandau to Hamburg, using only the strength of my arms.
Currents, weather, and long distances made each stage a challenge, but every kilometer brought me closer to my destination: the Hanseatic city of Hamburg.
2016
Strait of Gibraltar
In 2016, I swam across the Strait of Gibraltar, connecting Europe with Africa.
I covered the approximately 18 km between Spain and Morocco in strong currents and high waves – a very special kind of swim.
